Mary at the manger—Taking us back to the first Christmas Eve, this is also a painting of our own time because it reminds us that at the Birth of Our Lord and Savior, Jesus was born in an obscure little town, in a stable, and in a manger. There were only his Mother Mary and his father Joseph, the Donkey who carried Mary there and animals that lived in and around the stable. These Animals are Symbols of God’s Sacred Creation.
The only other humans were not yet there, but the 3 Wise Men/Magi were approaching from the East and the Shepherds were about to be called by Angels and told that the King of Kings was born nearby in a manger, so follow His Star!!!

María en el pesebre—Llevándonos a la primera Nochebuena, este es también un cuadro de nuestro tiempo porque nos recuerda que en el Nacimiento de Nuestro Señor y Salvador, Jesús nació en un pueblito poco conocido, en un establo y en un pesebre. Solo estaban su madre María y su padre José, el burro que llevó a María allí y los animales que vivían en el establo y sus alrededores. Estos animales son símbolos de la sagrada creación de Dios.
Los únicos otros humanos aún no estaban allí, pero los 3 Reyes Magos se estaban acercando desde el Este y los Pastores estaban a punto de ser llamados por Ángeles y les dijeron que el Rey de Reyes había nacido cerca en un pesebre, así que ¡sigan Su Estrella!!!

Stretched prints include Black Archival Backing and Wire Hanger.
For “rolled” prints, an extra 2-inch border is added around the size being ordered, providing extra canvas for mounting.
